i thought sr and sohc mafs were identical. i dont remember though, i immediately forget stuff once it doesnt apply to my car anymore

Well I have a sohc maf, and once I plug it in the car wont run. But if I leave it unplugged, it will kind of run if I keep tapping the throttle.

I did find out, that my #4 injector wasn't plugged in. One of the prongs had bent down, and the plug just pushed it out of the way. Now that I fixed that, it changed a little.

 

a dude pulled out in front of me right outside of my neighborhood. i mashed the brakes so hard i broke my foot.

 

So it seems that the #3 injector is failing or clogged. More than likely it died. Kinda gay. I'll find out tomorrow.

 

You guys make me feel lucky my car is so low maintenance.

I drive it just enough to find something I don't like about it then I fix it. Repeat the process. It never breaks though....yet.

 

im pretty sure i read somewhere that sohc and sr mafs are different. not sure how, but i know i read it somewhere. but i also heard they work.. haha

 

And I read that bigfoot is real. You can read lots of stuff these days, but it isn't all true.
