Any reason why my fuel pump wouldn't be working, after pulling the KA? The ecu is plugged in, and everything has power but the lower harness because I removed it. But when I flip the key, the pump gets no power.

checked the fuse, relay, and everything else. Tommy told me to ground the black/purple wire, and that turned it on. No idea what that tells me though, yet.

It's not uncommon for an ECU to have a blown fuel pump relay output. Put a meter between that wire and ground and see if it even tries to pull it low (to zero V).
