While you're under the car doing the swap, take pics of all the wrinkled paint and exposed metal. Those quarts of brake fluid go somewhere, probably dripped/splattered around under your car. Heres hoping its not!

It won't hurt it to sand the letters down. I've run regular painted valve covers with sanded letters and nothing else with no harm done. IIRC, factory is like that.

Thats true, I'll figure it out when its in the car, right now I kinda dig the all white.

I really wish it was shaved like the green one I did in my avatar. I might get another valve cover later down the line and shave it then coat it white.

Anyone know if I can use KA transmission sensors in a SR trans? If so which ones do i use, it seems this transmission has one less sensor than the KA.

They'll screw in and work fine, but KA and SR have different conenctors. Splice them and rock out.

I have no trans harness, car was auto and the fuck before me took it out instead of modding it to work after the 5 speed swap.

Which of them should I use? I can only seem to find 3 holes on the SR(VSS+2 others) and the ka trans has 4.
