Used half a bottle of simple green, 2 cans of engine degreaser and a can of brake cleaner to clean the mess under the new-to-me car, there was an oil leak but looks like it was just a finger tight oil drain plug. Also threw a set of crown vics with new tires on there just to get around.

use a hose with some pressure, and flush out the block and radiator to make sure there is no more rust in there.

yea im going to do something.and the kicker is that i had the block hot tanked for the build so in the morning im going to pick up another gasket for the housing i broke it. then flush it the best i can.. ohh my coolant is green not nasty looking at all so maybe it was just some random ass piece of rust the size of my finger nail on my pinky finger that slipped in while it was closed and made it not open all the way

Nice! I've got mine and my brother's pearl white S14s in the garage right now. It's a WK0 party!

That S13 shell had been nursed for years with a bad front main and oil pan leak up until it seized and I bought it. When I got it in 04, I had it on a lift with a barrel of solvent and a rag. One chemical poisoning later, it was clean like new back to the rear floor seam. It went through intensive cleaning a few more times, but wasn't ever perfect. The SR always dribbled a bit, which I hated. Maybe I'll upload some pics.

Oh, what the hell. Day 1, May 6 2004. Freshly towed to Secret Services, which had just closed, but the lease was good for another month. My 02 WRX in the background.
A few scuffs, but they buffed out. All of those SE wheels were bent. It was also auto. In 2 days, it'd be running with an S14 KA.

Nice pic!

Not many that clean any more. Especially around here.

Oh yeah, new pet peave: "mint". That's for candy and baseball cards. Whatever happened to excellent-good-fair-poor-tampastyle. Like Ali-G said, "keep it real."
