Went to install my Q45 VLSD, installed used drivers side Q45 axle on pass side, went to install rebuilt LH Z32 TT axle, hmm wont go in, ok see one spline that looks a little messed up at the end, smooth it out, still no luck, remove Q45 axle, check both with micrometer, same OD...

try some more, not much luck still, count splines on both several times to make sure I wasnt crazy, to find my "Z32TT" axle has 30 splines, and the Q45 axle has 32 splines, took it back to pep boys, they confirmed its supposed to be 32 spline now waiting for its replacement to get here

I have AC in my coupe! HAHA

I put the ac shit on, put my freshly painted flat black bumper support on. I found my floor mats and put them in, my interior needs a washing.

I wanted to sell some shit and pick up an LSD (1.5-2way), but it looks like its not selling. I might end up buying some z32 front 4 lug brakes. Decisions decisions >_>

It was only a matter of swapping from s14 to s13 a/c bracket, then bolting it all back up. It was all included with the coupe, he just didn't do it =\

Yeah z32 calipers on 4 lug rotors, whats wrong with that? I'm plenty happy with my fn01rcs as wheels, no need for the extra 300+ for 5 lug.

Less rotating mass and lower COG

Usually people dont mention much about the lugs when referring to brakes, rotors get redrilled all the time, it looked more like a typo where you meant 4 piston, but typed lug instead

If you are happy with your wheels theres nothing wrong with staying 4 lug, though 5 lug can be done for a much more reasonable price than most think.

ROFL @ mass and cog

Oh I know it can, Ive seen the q45/j30 write ups.

But I like my wheels, and the sizes are fine with me. Not to mention they make plenty or 17x9" 4 lug wheels with a decent enough offset. Im happy with that, dont plan to make enough power to need more than my 215/45/17 anyway xD

low rotating mass/cog ftw? lol

Yup low cog is awesome, thats why I went with an iron block LQ9 for my swap instead of the LS1, gives me more weight down low ya know ?

Poly bushings are starting to bind. If I dont feel super lazy I'll re-grease stuff tomarrow. Wish I'd done that last week when it was cool outside. Ohwell.
