Did an oil change. To have the purolator filter fail and pop off during a pull. Bye bye bearings/crank/maybe bc pro billet rods/etc. My life fuckin ROX!!!!

i was worried about this with the Mobil 1 filter (since ive been using OEMs) so i check it before i leave and after i park. No problems with it. I did hear that Purolator/Fram have a tendency to pop off. But since the new OEM (white) filters are just as shit as the Frams, i'd rather spend the $8.50 per Mobil 1 filter (with coupon).

^SR. The purolator's threads don't look quite as nice as the fram I put on after it happened. Just to have it run about an hour before it started knockin. I think the short SR filters suck. I had a max/pathfinder big filter on there before I changed the oil. At least I have another built SR shortblock sitting at my shop. So if I fucked up a rod I'll just swap the whole block out.
