Single shade lid, ouchie, thats gotta be fun, hopefully you are learning on some thick stuff, I got the miller elite with it, supposed to be good down to something like 5 or 10A on tig, its pretty nice, worth every penny.

ROFL @ doors shut for rigidity
Did a little reading and it sounds like the Diversion is the Econotig replacement. I think this one doesn't go down as far, though, and is larger. Saw a synchro at CFP, and it was enourmous!

Learning, first thing I did was stuck the electrode. Instictively I pulled back on the torch which pulled the material off the vice I was grounded to. Foot still in the pedal. POW!

16ga stainless IC pipes turned out nice. Too bad I only helped cut them.

My tires will last longer assuming we have the same ones. Remember your graphs on toe gain under compression? haha

I bet he wasnt going 85mph+ for 60-70 miles with that thing though.

240sx firing order is not 3,2,4,1... I have no idea how this car ran, the dist was like 4 teeth off and the wires were all on wrong. 10 minutes of tinkering with the dist and wires, and this car purrs like a kitten.

God people are stupid.
+1 I actually think it was 5 teeth

Looked at it today, and got some grass on it from me mowing the lawn. One of these days I'll get a water pump and some window weld...

Yeah, the econotig is gone, but this is an inverter rather than a transformer, goes down a little further on the amperage, smaller (i think), weighs a hell of a lot less, supposedly the arc is better with an inverter vs. transformer, I definetly like it.

Yeah getting shocked by it isnt much fun, especially this high frequency shit

Thinking about getting a roof rack for the 240, not sure what it would look like on a coupe.
