What tig did you get? I've got a Miller Econotig on loan. Learning on scrap. Going to weld my doors shut for rigidity. Simple shaded mask is a PITA.

The diversion, I was split between it and the syncro200, but it will do what I want it to, and is a hell of a lot lighter, I can just stick it on the shelf in my garage and get it out when I want, no way in hell I could do that with the syncro.

Single shade lid, ouchie, thats gotta be fun, hopefully you are learning on some thick stuff, I got the miller elite with it, supposed to be good down to something like 5 or 10A on tig, its pretty nice, worth every penny.

ROFL @ doors shut for rigidity

I drove mine, some kid who looked like he was 12 in a new evo sporting the vin diesel death grip on his steering wheel, and some kid in a NA 300zx that sounded like shit got on both sides of me and tried to get me to race. I LOL'd at them and they took off, only to get stuck at the red light. Orlando is full of idiots.
Don't race Hondas... The race isn't over until they pass you.
