I ride different bikes everyday, but after seeing all the accidents that happen here. I wont own one until I move, to many dumbass drivers here "just didn't see" motorcycles.

Took the heads and oil pan off my engine last night, found the bent rod with a cracked piston attached. Fun stuff

 

yea. its really tempting.. hes the original owner, it was very well kept, and he kept up on all the maintenence on it. and he gave me a really low price too. only thing thats keeping me from doing it is all of the drivers in the area who dont pay attention.

 

If you are a really attentive rider, this isn't that big of an issue, it's when you start being a jackass and also not paying enough attention when someone pulls out in front of you.

You have to watch for cars that look like they may pull out in front of you, and have a strategy planned out ahead of time. I really miss having a bike, but now with a baby on the way, it's not a good time for me to get one again.

 

Not really, i mean in some instances, but in many people drive so violently and carelessly there is nothing you can do. I know someone that just got sideswiped yesterday, because someone just cut across all the lanes so fast there was nothing he could do.

 

Engine bearings and piston rings are ordered and on their way.

The only time I plan on riding my bike is in the evening like once a week when there is less traffic and I'll always ride with another bike.

but like i said last night, ima squeeze some more horses out of my current set-up, see if that starts a fire or not, and then move onto my next step.

i really want to finally rehang my sideskrts today, which i have been putting off for a solid 7 months haha

 

yea thats what i was gonna do if i got the bike. ride it strictly for pleasure. not a dd.

 

I dropped off the exhaust housing to have it ceramic coated.
Creation of hot pipe and suction pipe are next on the list.
