I cant believe you just suggested an n/a sr20 over the ka. Is there no limit to your stupidity?

With the same reasonable amount of money put into both (assuming you do your own labor), the ka will be stronger, have more hp, have more tq, have less turbo lag, make more power on pump gas, and not make you look like an uneducated bandwagon jumping mofo who is swapping motors because you are too stupid to realize it is a downgrade.

 

I lurk around in here sometimes, always enjoy the SR20 vs KA arguments, just wondering why dan was hoping his car was in sellable condition.

sohc pistons in a twin cam is actually great for a na ka(obviously)you can buy oem sohc pistons from nissan for about 160-180bucks, with rings and everything,with the 89 pistons it'll put you between 11:4.1-11:6.1 compression.and I think you have to use single cam rods also,it would def be a nasty na ka,with a fresh build,single cam pistons,header,maybe a little head work,go for it.
