Default What rods/pistons do you use?

I know alot of you are pushing out some good HP numbers so I was just wondering what rods/pistons you are using if you went aftermarket, and are you satisfied with them?

If you've used different sets on different motors why did you change and what are your thoughts/problems on the others?

Eagle rods are usually a good choice for Nissans in particular, They make some good products for Z32's and have very reasonable prices. I've had good luck with Eagle/CP piston combo's.

I have read alot of bad reviews on the Eagle rods on Zcar.com and TwinTurbo.net. Alot of the guys there say the Eagles crapped out on them. Most of the 600+ HP guys there use either Pauter or Carrillo. The combo I'm thinking of going with is Pauter rods with JWT/Arias pistons

Eagle had a bad batch about a year and a half ago, something with the casting, but it was for a short period of time and fixed now. It effected DSM's, 2JZ's, VG's, and a few other engines if I remember right. Those were pretty much select cases, I haven't had an engine failer since I've been using them.

With a screen name like yours, why should we take into consideration anything you say about piston engines, Boostin 13B ? Hahaha.

Anyway, I'll stand behind Carillo or Pauter rods.
