titanium rods are unbelivable.. if you are doing your dream build, go with them. Wiesco's first run for the VG were designed wrong. Their second generation pistons are fantastic; but CP is a lot better either way.

i believe you. no doubt those rods are amazing. just that im not planning on becoming independently rich anytime soon, so my build will have to settle for the lesser of the two

I too am a Wiseco fan. They are in my KA and in my dirtbikes. I know motocross has NOTHING to do with cars but most people at the MX races run Wiseco pistons when they rebuild and having used them myself I guess I have become a follower of their pistons.

bahahahaha. Take a joke man. It's all good.
since my stock rods seem just fine spinning 9k (up 400 from before) I think i'll stay with them for a little while longer.

Were running 2 thousenths on the bearings. We built the car to be a dependable and very fast streetable car that she could take to the strip, or the road course and drive to work if she wanted to. Turbo spools plenty fast. I just had my crank guy balance the crank and we kept the stock flywheel so she would still have plenty of rotating mass for the drag strip.

As for the plenum, it was just thrown on there to get running while we waited on parts. I still have cams and plenty of other things to go on the car sitting in the garage, just no time at the moment. I even have a brand new in the box Z32 trans for the swap. We even resorted to throwing on an SSautochrome manifold and I fabbed up a quicky downpipe to get us running while we waited on Peak boost stuff.

We also just threw some 52lbs injectors to get going for the time being, havent yet decided if were going to go larger injectors with race gas for high hp numbers or run a meth setup like I normally do for daily drivers.

I was looking at the Crower site and holyshit I did not know they make stroker kits for my car. Thats like sex without the $10,000 price tag of the Jun kit. I was thinking of getting a new Nismo crank so if Crower's is forged and they'll swap out the JE pistons for Arias for a bit extra then there may just be a change of plans in the future.
