+1 I have a ka-t s13 and a redtop sr s14 as the s14 nears its first startup time I can't help but feel the reality of its just another engine in the back of my head.

VG30 may be heavier than KA, but I read on FreshAlloy that the a bare VQ is lighter than a bare SR! Ponder....

By the way, I love my 100% stock KA. I think an S13 intake cam and a ROM tune would finish it off for me.

I love my SR blacktop! It is a lot of fun and great daily driver. If horsepower or build up is your thing maybe there are different choices but it is a fun reliable engine for me. If your one of those MAD TYTE JDM guys, then a think a CA in the s13 is the way to go.

KA24E-T checkin in! I've been boosting on a COMPLETELY OEM KAE (140k) for some time now... Zero problems and tons of fun. Much more torque than a comparable SR set up. If this thing ever blows, I've got a nicely built block ready for battle. I'm looking to make at least 100 more than my last car (SR... 397WHP & 380lbs).

Most SR's i see around with that kind of power level rarely make over 330-350lbft of tq , care to elaborate on your setup?

Basics: S13 red, 9:1 CP's, HKS 264's, GT25R .86A/R, Tial 35mm, 740's, Z32 MAFS, One of Scott's first ECU programs,... 17psi on stock intake and exhaust manifolds. These #'s were produced over 2 years ago! I was the first around here with the 25R... Now everyone has duplicated this set-up...
