step 1's are pretty good, thats what I currently have. I will more likely eventually get the step 2's pretty soon, just all depends. I have a little lop but nothign like a step 2. Like everyone else, I have a s13 motor.

the tomei arms smaller turbo will get you to ALMOST 330 or so. at the wheels.

ignore the 380PS crap. they say S14/S15 turbo is good to 360PS. so your arms will get you to 320 or so reliably guarnateedly if ou figure the same.

do a real garrett turbocharger, GT2871R .64 and call it a day.

Just woundering how about a GT2871 with a .86 would that be better to go to the 264 step 2?

Why do you say that? Step 2 is just a designation for a cam with the same duration but with more lift, right? You should get more airflow with more lift if the head design can support it, which should make better torque through the rpm range. I just want to know what your reasoning behind that is .

I have a friend with 264 step 2's on his large a/r gt25r car, I'll see if he wants to respond.

No the price of the "full race" manifold owns me, I dont own shit

would step2's be too much for a gt2871r with moderate bolt ons.

wont that ar on the hot side be shit for spool, even though it has les restriction.

the biggest power gains from cams are gonna be with a bigger difference.

for example i did 264/264s on a S13 with GT2540R and the mid range is a night and day difference, very linear

if u got a S14, do step 1 256/264 combo, and with my favorite turbo, 2871R .64 AR exh. it will bolt in the stock location, but custom feed and return lines are recommended, though u can bend the shit out of yours to make it fit. only problem with running the bottom mount is making an intake that will clear the accessories.

do a 2871R and just keep it internal with like a HKS actuator on it, they are cheap.
