Well, Ive been told that OBD2 can be a pain when it comes to tuning (as compared to OBD1) simply because many more parameters are being watched and measured in the OBD2 ECU's which can throw codes a lot more offen which can hinder performance upgrades because the computer goes into "panic-oh, shit" mode and resets everything to a safe car-running setting. Of course tuning OBD2 is pretty much old school now anyways.
