Unfortunately its not when I want....Front calipers locked up 2x now, and I bled the fluid out and replaced it, just in case of debris in the system. Could it be from the turbo heat? I'm getting tired of pulling over with smoking brakes and tapping the master cyl.....HELP!!!

 

make some sort of shield for the master cylinder to protect it from the heat.
remember they dont have these problems in japan, with the master being on the other side.

it could also be a seized caliper.
but if tapping on the master solves it, most likely not.
i would probably replace the master for good measure.

 

the master was just replaced.....will a shield really help with this problem? what is actually happening to the brakes??

 

i have no idea, since im not looking at the car, or havent driven it.
the heat shield certainly wouldnt hurt though.

explain to me how it locks up after you drive for a while meaning after you get into boost? well i had this problem a while back and i thought it was my brake booster but it turned out to be the check valve on the vacuum line... if that check valve was starting to go bad when you had the ka in and then u put the ca in that should be you problem. the reason being is now you are creating boost and what happens is when you have a slight leak in that check valve it allows the booster to fill up slowing locking the brakes up... i just replace it with a new on and i also put the jdm booster on because it is bigger he he more stopping power see if that helps if not let me know.
