I think your useless posts are what bring down your brain cell counts. The car has been "running" per se` the car has not seen mileage though. Tomorrow night it will see some miles and hopefully a breakin.
The car has made many 150mph runs around the bridges with some F-bodies. Brake fade is an issue that I'd like to address. Hence posting about it.
In the future, please add SOME bit of related info in your posts. The post about his car was meant as a joke. Im sure he picked up on that, but I guess you like to meddle into other people's affairs more often then you should anyway, so it's to be expected from you.

Let's act like grown men, here.
Pads and/or rotors won't make the car stop faster, but they will fight brake fade. Look for something that has a higher operating temp. Not sure if Hawk makes pads for your app, but reading about their line-up is educational.
Resistance to boiling usually increases with the higher numbered DOT fluid. If you grabbed any old bottle, it's probably DOT 3. Try a name branded 4 or 5.

Powestop sells crossdrilled rotors which are damn pricey if you wanted to go that route. I would suggest you get Brembo replacement rotors as well as some Metal Master Pads all around. (I have both and they work great)
Just get some good rotors and some Metal Master pads like Ant said. That should hold you over for a while. Also make sure you do a good job bleeding your brakes with some decent fluid. By the way you can get cross drilled powerstops for $50 a piece.
