and how many SR's make 270 on the stock turbo, i think maybe one around here? average is around 240'ish...once again jeff, WHERE IS THE PROOF to that ever so ignorant statement that you like to throw out there now and then one motor out of about 100 makes 15-20 more horsepower than the rest and that makes it a superior motor, wow...? on topic now, a few users of this forum have used or are using the 7cm 20G, and swear by it, its a quick spooling turbo contrary to what your friends sisters brothers cousin told his brother in law whos aunt told you about it being laggy, welcome to misinformation city

there are many people who make 240rwhp on stock turbo sr without even a rom tune or afc tune...

hehe thanks i love you...but back to your question...

to me.... if one motor is putting out more power... lol then its obviously better... get into details about pricing, reliability etc fine what have you... but as a basic concept... motor that producing more power... better engine

There's no misinformation here. I can see a difference of 300-500rpm being a given for people's perception on a turbo's lag. 3500 is still laggy. 4000 is even more so. I think you're so into the 4g engine you wouldn't give in to this even if I had 50 dynosheets with 100 DSM owners sworn statements saying the 4g isn't as superior as you think it is.

Im not downing the motor, you sure took offence quick. It's a great motor, with excellent potential. The SR is just better, and breaks less.
i dont even own a 4G powered car, nor do i have any intention on ever owning one again, i was simply going to reply to give jonas some useful information on a turbo he was interested in, and what i saw so far was misinformation so i stepped in, and all i want is for you to come up with solid proof that that motor is better, i happen to find them a pretty even match, you got high horsepower SR's, high horsepower 4G's, you got SR's going in all sorta of touring races in japan, you have 4G's running 7 second quarter miles in the US, so once again, proof?

apples to oranges, the T25's are not the same between a DSM and an SR, the Dsm guys would kill to be able to hold boost all the way to redline on their car, but they still make 250'ish, agree to disagree, they are both great motors that have their strong points and their weak points
