The only pros that use it here don't win competitions.
The ones that are winning (In usa AND Japan) Are all using Garrett GT Turbochargers.
Just because you see it in japan and your hero is using it doesn't mean it's better. Less power and less powerband = worse. Even if it's cheaper.

Matt's right for the most part, it is a very laggy turbo. The DSM is a less efficient motor, and will make a few ponies less on the same turbo. However, the 20g will make near 400whp. at least the 6cm housing will.
I've not seen this personally, but it's a large turbo, and on paper is very stout.

...not meant to start a pissing match with the SR guys, but just shunning on ignorancealso jeff, the 20G isnt even available in 6cm, and it wouldnt make sense to use a 6cm on it, a 7cm TDO5 exhaust housing with the TD06 20G compressor side hits full boost (19 psi) on my friends 1G AWD DSM at about 3500 rpm, thats with a large port low velocity head and 7.8:1 compression...laggy? i dont think so, the beauty of a 20G is they spool up VERY fast, and will easily put 350-400 to the ground depending on your supporting mods...the greddy 20G kits normally come with big exhaust housings and cause them to be laggy, if you get a 20G, get one from Buschur racing, and remember folks, shunning ignorance saves lives

I got it confuzzed.
As far as a better motor, the SR is.
It makes more power stock for stock on the same boost levels. Im not just making it up.

I knew that would spark some debate. I'm not trying to piss anyone off here. How many DSM's make 270whp on 15-17psi from a t25?
I sure haven't seen one. Although I could be wrong. I don't think so. I've seen 2 DSM's (2g's) with the 20g and both were closer to 4k rpm for full boost.
One was at charlies shop, and made lots of horsepower, broke the tires loose in 4th from a roll, but took over 4k to get full boost. The other was at Sunshine, the kid was complaining about his new turbo, and how he could only run an 8.4 because of the lag this turbo had. It was also a 20g. This one was from a GReedy kit, IIRC.
