If you want 250ish hp, just get an SR20det and BPU it. NA KA is pointless pretty much (this coming from a guy who would prefer KAT over SR20).

edit... Any of the 3 forms of forced induction is the only way to go with the KA.

Why the hell would you want high compression on a turbo block? I think you need to do a little more research before you get ASE certified. I definetly don't want you working on any Nissan cars I know of..

He wanted to NA so take the turbo block and I would slap high compression pistons in it. Reread it. Like this http://www.ne.jp/asahi/eagle/racing/newpage4.htm
with the strength of the turbo bottom end it would be a built proof NA. Other word NOT TURBO. You jump to conclusions think twice before you post.

why use the turbo block though? its the same as the na rwd SR20... in fact, the na block wouldnt cause you to block up all the oil/coolant passages AND the na sr swaps are over 1000 cheaper... same trannies and all.

Exactly what Taylor said, I wasn't JUMPING to conclusions.. it was a why in the hell would you do that statement. I feel your pain. Stick to your Honda tech because you're pretty off when it comes to helping others in this Tech.
