Looks like the champagne 5spd Base hatch may be delivered as early as today. I'm waiting for a call for the current owner. If thats the case, then there will be some pictures to be posted up soon as the project starts...which should be @ some point this week.

 

"Jane" has arrived...

A plain champagne colored '93 base hatch with power mirrors and fewer miles on the chassis that my blue donor car. Sad to be pulling the blue car apart but the car just isnt right for the street any more. Here is a few starter pix:





Lots of tan interior parts will be pulled from this shell. First will be the motor and trans swap...more soon guys.

Could have been on craigslist. I was contacted by the seller so i didnt see it there. It IS a s13, isnt eveything mis-aligned...lol. Seriously though. It shuts solid and body lines are fine. I'll be pulling it any way to see whats what in relation to which door is best...the blue hatch's or this one. Preping for the swap this weekend and will complete it the first full weekend into the new year. Pictures coming soon.

most definately.
"all" i have going on is a "simple" intake manifold pull on a 300zx. gotta pull it apart, redo a whole mess of working, finish eliminating the emissions that were only half removed, properly do the injector swap, clean the manifold, tuck the upper engine harness, and get it all back together. And that's just the work that I know needs done. I can't wait to see what else I find when I get it apart.
There is a lesson to be had here, when you cut corners, things get jacked up.

But yeah, if you need a hand with anything, I'll see what I can do. definitely want to see the progress though. It really looks like an impressive undertaking.

No it's not that one. My friend got that one. It's retarded clean.

 

This one is far from clean. My blue hatch is actually has more straight panels for the most part and its not brown/tan on the interior too. Why they even came in that color i do not know. That will all go away shortly though. The big difference is the tightness of the chassis. I'll snap some photos that illustrate that fact tomorrow. I'm still wrapping my head around the motor/harness swap I need to do and some painting I need to do inside the engine bay to start with.

Blegh my car came with brown interior too. I don't understand how anyone could have looked at that and thought it would be a good idea.
