Before and After...a Refresh and Update Project on a '93 s13 Hatch
I'll snap and post some once I get them on. I did a quick mock up with the calipers and discovered that I will need spacers to clear them. Looks like i'll need a minimum of 12mm's, though I honestly havent measured for the exact size yet. I have searched and discovered that the majority of the spacers and sold by increments of 5mm...5,10,15...etc. The wheels you sold me have good fitment, but add the spacers too and i may need a roll on the front fenders. And man, will they be ridiculously "hellaflush"...lol.

Sorry if I missed it, but what are the sizes of those wheels? Width and offset. Btw, the car looks hawt and stupid clean lol.
The wheels are 17x7 and +40...i think (but could be +35,42, or even 48??) tires are 235/45's...I need to confirm this myself. James, you might know right off hand. They fit nicely Much more flush, or less sucken then an a standard SE wheel. But they eat the face of the Skyline brake upgrade i have.
I'll post some pix of by how much when I make take measurements. I know from reading up on desired clearance and what-not , that @ a minimum you should have about 2mm between your caliper and the backside of the wheel just for road "stuff" to slide by.
When I mocked them up they were hitting the caliper such that shaving the logo (not that i would anyway) wouldnt allow them to clear.

Well 15x7 is "helllaflush" by your definition at like 0 or -10 offset. So you have plenty of ways to go. Worst case for you is that it's at +35, so you would be more than fine with like 20mm spacer if I'm thinking of this right.
New Tension Rods ...good stuff here.
Definately and upgrade worth doing. I have the Poly bushings in the TC rods...but they are nothing compared to the solid feel of these bad boys!! Thanks JDMbyBlood...

David48 - Perhaps my offset is "better" than I though. I'm quite cetain that 20mm spacers would require a roll and maybe pull especially up front. As they sit now, the wheels almost scuff the inside lip of the front fenders, missing them by just a whisker. I'm thinking my issue is more with the spoke design, its beefier around the hub of the wheel and that causes the interference.
I hardly consider myself a wheel expert in the matter of fitment. I say "hellafush" cuz i've heard the term thrown around...but i'll be damned if I know the right wheel to get it to that point. 15x7 with 0 offset sound like Enkei Mesh to me though.

Here are some pix of a mock up I did to confirm the fitment of the spacers, brakes and wheels. I'll get better pix later as I complete the upgrade to my Skyline Brakes.
Here are the 15mm Ichiba Spacers w/ extended studs I received yesterday evening...

As for the mock up, the rotor is a stock 240sx rotor, which is why you can see the trimmed (and rusty backing plate). I didnt disconnect my stock brakes, just tucked them out of the way so I could find out how the spacers would work out.

Here you can see why the extended lugs are included. Add the hub of the wheels and you have a stud that just barely peeks out of the back of the wheel...no threads to be had @ all. The stock brakes are even or flush with the front of the brake rotor/hub, even with the spacers the R32 Skyline GTR brakes hang over off the front. I antisipate some sick stopping power. Overkill has never ben so safe I guess.

With the wheel mounted (note the stock studs jut barely peeking out from the mounting holes of the wheel) there is a about 4mm of clearance from the spokes of the wheel to the face of the brake. The wheels and tires will ride about as flush as you can get with out a pull I think. If I had coilovers I would more than likely need a roll and may still even with the setup I am running...

And before I get carried away with all the fun stuff I also have a z32 master to install at the same time to keep the feel and the bias of the brakes right where it needs to be.

More to follow...
