2400lbs would be some nice weight reduction. I dont know about streetable though, everyone has a differant definition for that. top fuel dragster could be driven on the steet. so I guess they are streetable too. English Racings Jeb Bush talon is down to 2097 w auto trans. no doubt weight reduction is big key to going fast.

cj i doubt the car was choking up cuz of you intake manifold, a good friend of mine made 620 wheel on his fwd talon 2g on stock intake manifold an n/t tb... devin was running 9s on a stock intake mani and tb... stock 1g intake manifold actually flow pretty decent..

yupp light weight is defenity a key to going fast and also less of a strain on the drivetrain, less broken parts lol.. And yes the car in most eyes is not a street car as it sits, 7 gallon fuel cell, noisy a1000, rear trunk floor completely cut out, no radio/ ps/ac/heat, but I still will drive it to meets, races, even track..

mainly me. i have one of my buddies father helping me because he has the pipe bender etc. i had to give him some lessons on mild steel welding lol. he has a 900whp monte carlo we did the cage in and it came out great and nhra certified it for 8's.

I have been affiliated with ASAP before ASAP had a white dsm talking 6years or more now, This isn't my first one, its my 6th its not a shop car buddy, its sitting in front of my house now in the air now that i found some time to swap the rear end over now that the auto is in.
