yeahh, i heared tampabay tuned has that awd dyno so if i stay local ill will be using your dyno, im still not sure if im staying with link or aem, i was thinking about ASAP to do a link v3 sd tune but if i use a aem i was thinking possibly cmb in orlando.. still not sure at all on a tune just figured id mention it, and I have decided to turn the car into more of a race car( will still be bringing it out to the streets ) , heavy weight reduction( fiberglass hood, doors, hatch) lexan windows all around expect windsheld,kirkey alum seat, 15in rim with a 26 dot slick... also considing exshaust out front bumper and a staging brake...we have got talons awd into the 2400lbs still streetable, goal is to get it below the 2400lb mark which i can defenity see happening

2400lbs would be some nice weight reduction. I dont know about streetable though, everyone has a differant definition for that. top fuel dragster could be driven on the steet. so I guess they are streetable too. English Racings Jeb Bush talon is down to 2097 w auto trans. no doubt weight reduction is big key to going fast.

no hiding here. just sick of the shit talking. everyone decides to chime in and run their mouth too, instead of their broke ass cars that never run. if we are really running for that kind of money then give me some time so i have the extra cash to fuck around with. i have a family to take care of and bills to pay just like anyone else. you can talk like a bad ass all you want, but i am "bout that life". i work 60 hours a week and go home and tinker with the car with whatever time i have left. i dont have time to sit here on TRama and swap words with all these weak minded people.

on the other hand, code...your car is coming out real nice. would you like to roll out to bradenton with the racekors when I get my slicks?

oh and just for anyone who cares, look up drew jones on youtube, he has almost identical setup as me. he ran 10.3 at 140 mph on 33 psi rolling into 1st gear.

that does not mean ur car is going to run 10.3 or close to it. alot of people over the years have tried to imitate sheps setup and they have never been close to his 7.7 pass.

I was just stating that his setup was similar to mine so you guys realize the power potential there. You guys really all think that i'm just some retard that runs his mouth to everyone, NO. I'm sick of the know it alls and bashing around here. 945 was giving Ryu a bunch of shit for using VD like it really matters, its just an estimate, he took it to a dyno afterwards. Is it really necessary? NO. Don't talk shit to someone running 9's if your car doesn't even have a transmission in it. You guys have me all wrong. I'm not some tool bag, I'm not trying to talk down to anyone, I'm just fed up I guess you could say. Don't think just cause I haven't posted any dyno sheets or track times that my car isn't anything. I ran a few cars on the street before I broke my shift fork. on low boost I pulled buslengths on a CTS-V and pulled 4 cars on a built mustang on nitrous. I have now converted to E85 and I'm ready to whoop some ass. I will for sure post up my dyno sheets and track times whenever that time comes.

but for now, I'm trying to finish up the last few touches to my car, so 945liter...let me know when that automatic is in.

yes drew jones, (brokentsi on tuners from rome ny) i"ve seen him and the redjack racing guys at etown in person when I lived there last september, car is a pretty simple nothing crazy setup on meth and pump i beleve he was running, car was running a batmowheel 66mm bw wheel.. car was running 10s.. I have no doubt cj that ur car isent fast nor capable of a 10 sec pass..All depends on the driving,tire choice,weight, and suspension setup in ur car to run a good time in drag racing..

yeah thats who i was asking you about before if you knew him lol. ive had quite a few words with him about his setup. he just recently converted his S366 to the double batmowheel and he just converted his car to E85. he actually tuned the 7 bolt record car recently also. He told me he ran 10.8 at 133mph on 22 psi straight 93 octane. 22 psi was 400whp on a MUSTANG dyno. Thats another reason why I assumed my 18 psi was around 400-450 because it definetly felt like it. my car was choking up so bad after 7k rpm's though from the stock intake manifold and throttle body so we left it at 18 psi.
