idle that higher usually means intake manifold gasket is broken. the effect is like holding throttle plate open

As long as the gasket is not bent or messed up im sure you can reuse it......

As far as the high idle i would replace the ISC, same thing happened to my car, if anything hit up the local junk yard and grab one, new ones cost a good chunk of change....

Well, changed intake manifold gasket today, still high idle.. Go figure, but now i'm hearing a hissing noise coming from top on intake manifold right by the injectors i think it might be one of the o-rings that go on the bottom of injectors. hopefully its not the intake manifold gasket.

just spray starting fluid or something flammable around the general area and it'll rev up alot higher for a quick second when you hit the leak.

First step would be to do a boost leak test and find your leak before randomly replacing seals and gaskets. Instructions on how to make a boost leak tester are in the thread below.

IC Pipe Tester

Let us know what you find out.
