my .02 skip the dinky 16g turbo and go to the fp green. in the end your going to want more, trust me. ive gone thru 3 turbos changes and i wish i wouldve just bought the one i have now instead of going thru the other ones. the green is going to do what the 16g can plus more.

Last I checked, the FP Green is capable of 500HP. I think that around those ranges, it is a good idea to upgrade the connecting rods. I believe xgstxguyx is running a 7-Bolt motor, not a 6-bolt. People pushing 8,500 RPMs constantly are also usually the ones you see pulled over on the side of the road with smoke pouring out of the hood. I'm not saying that there aren't any 4G63s out there that have taken a beating and still lasted for a long time, but typically, they croak earlier than some ay expect. No doubt, our engines are strong as hell, but they are not bullet proof.
I know of a couple 2g's, hitting consistant 8500+rpms on their setups, with 50trim turbos and stock bottom ends traping well over 110-115 with no problems. Just do it right.

Fucking 7bolt crap

Speaking of, how much cash do you have to spend on a turbo xgstxguyx? If you have Green money, what is it, another 700 more to go with an FP3052 setup? Don't worry, this turbo upsizing stops somewhere around the T66 range, if only because a 10:1 2.4 only pushes out so much exhaust gas.

If you have the money go with the FP Green. If you are looking for a 12 sec ET that is the way to go. A little bit of lag but very streetable.

green: 1299.00+parts and o2 housing 300-500.00
3052: 1249.00+350 external wastegate, + 300-500.00 for o2 and parts.

id say roughly about 300-400 for the 3052, has quicker spool than the green too.

ive got the 3052 and cant be any happier with it. ive made 411whp on stock bottom end at 21psi and still alot more room to gain more. you cant go wrong with either turbo.

If you need a green to run a 12sec ET then you don't need to be in racing.

i rode in superhatch69's car yesterday, he is running a Green, all i can say is, i hope you have alot of work set aside to find traction, cause that turbo does not like it one bit, i also rode in a car w/ an SC61, the SC61 is a much smoother, slightly laggier turbo, but the green DEFINITELY should be able to hold its own....rolling smoke off the tires all the way to redline in 2nd, and still burning them through 3rd?!....the bigger turbo's are fun, i've discovered...i will have my 60 trim this week

Why are you going with such a small turbo? 60trim? Come on man!
