Question Which turbo???

It's almost that time to where im gonna be taking out the little t-25 and putting in something that'll give me more power. I'm stuck between getting an 18G or (i've heard a few people say i should get) and fpgreen. I'm wondering what the real difference is in performance and which one will give me the most power for the buck. I'll greatly appreciate your insight. thanx.

Fp green and 18g are damn different...and alot stronger than your t-25. Do the supporting mods first before you upgrade the turbo. And Search ! If you wanted to upgrade it just get an Evo 3 16g that's the best bang for the buck.

yeah i've found the injectors, fuel pump, etc.
Ive have searched around and i havnt found much literature on the fpgreen. I hear it gives a lot more performance, just not sure. Not really just looking for the cheapest one, i want something im gonna actually be happy with. Thanks for the input

What are your goals for the car? What kind of powerband do you want? If you want a low-lag street turbo the Evo 16g is good. If you're into autocross, lots of 2g guys run the Big 28. If you're willing to sacrifice spool for power, you start moving up to 50 trim variants, then up into the stratosphere with turbos bigger than you'll probably ever need.

some turbo lag wouldn't bother me if it's giving me more power in higher rpms, i dont want it falling on its face every time i shift tho.
I just want to run like 12's, that's my goal for now

Running 12s is going to be more a result of your supporting mods / driving ability than it will be which turbo you choose. I think the Evo III 16g would be a wise choice. I would highly suggest you look into a good suspension setup along with some Prothane motor mounts if you havent already. An LSD wouldnt hurt either. Making loads of power with a huge turbo is much less important than putting the power you have to the ground. If you go and slap an FP Green on without the proper supporting mods, expect your times to be in the neighborhood of 13.9@111mph

Right, i understand that, i'm just saying a turbo that will make that possible and will support that power. I think im going to start looking into the evoIII 16G. Slap that on with the supporting mods, build it up more until im ready for a bigger one. Not looking to be the fastest, just need more hp . I've looked into the supporting mods and i've got that all squared away. Thanks a lot for your input guys im gonna go look for some prices

Do not go to slowboyracing! I have heard nothing but bad things from them latly.

Go with an evo3 16g it will be just fine for what you want.
