14b to 16g upgrade?
if your goal is to be fast and have your car still running, you should upgrade the supporting mods BEFORE upgrading the turbo.
start with: 14b,fmic,walbro255,550's
skip the gm translator...it's just not necessary. get something to tune your car. safc and a data logger at a minimum. better yet, get an EMS or dsmlink.
it is a simple formula. air + fuel + spark = HP.
you have air w/ an intake and exhaust. you have NO fuel upgrades. The stock coils will spark far into the 300 - 400 hp range. you first need fuel and to cool down your air with a bigger intercooler. when you add fuel via bigger injectors and a wally, you will need a way to control fuel delivery at all points in the rpm range...hence the safc. your stock ecu just isn't going to handle 550s and a wally optimally.
then, look into a 16g.

don't read this post justin, lol.
don't buy a supra sidemount...waste of time and money, as the difference is minimal and it'll hold you back when you're trying to make real power...not to mention a used front mount with pipes and all can be had for cheap, OR a used/new front mount and custom piping can be had for even cheaper. front mount or stick with your stock sidemount until you have the money...you'll just be wasting your time and money with the supra sidemount.

minimal?
it's good to the 350 - 400 hp range. it would serve this guy well for quite some time. i doubt he's going over 350 for a LONG time. granted, a big FMIC would be better, but you can't get a good FMIC for $100 either. in MOST cases, a big FMIC is overkill and a waste of $$$
