im good man.. i already have 2 engines that need to be rebuilt and im possibly getting 2 more. Plus it seems that i may be acquiring 2 more transmissions that also need rebuilding. On top of that, once again i have 2 rx7's that arent running.... so i think i need to step back for a few days and evaluate what it is that i am doing and which direction to start off in... Also i need to either figure out how to accomplish something stupid, or how to talk myself out of it!

 

in my opinion take what you can from the blue one you just blew up. Part it out get what you can. Use that money to go towards your T2. Quit wasting your time and money on that one and devote it all into the one everyone is waiting to see get started. OR buy a 1st gen with the money do a crazy ass port on it and go kick some honda kids ass with a car that is older then him.

It just takes time and money and at the moment im stretched too thin with both of em to actuallymake anything happen with relative speed....

 

your telling me i wanna get my T2 underway as well but there are other things i am more worried about putting my money toward right now. But i am doing the microtech for sure.

 

i hate that the haltech is so damn expensive! Wish they wouldve been a lil cheaper

 

DONT DO MICROTECH!!!!!!!!!!!! GET A NEWER HALTECH!. microtech is sooooooooooooo far behind times, trust me i have one. so wish i had the money to get something else.

 

which Haltech are you talking about cause i dont see one for Mazda RX-7's on the site and im not familiar at all with this shit.

Well i just went out to the parking lot to get an idea if it would start when i leave work in an hour and a half... and i got curious so i started looking for oil leaks under the car... i saw a few spots were something was dripping, so i started it and watched for the drips... sure enough they were there, but looking at the oil slung under the car thats not where the drips originated... or atleast it didnt look like it. So i popped the hood and sure enough... between the front cover and the housing... down by the turbo train tube (t2 front cover) there was an odd flow of oil. I snapped a pic and its up on facebook if you wanna see.. I guess i may have not blown the motor... and just had oil running onto the exhaust.... We shall see later this week as i investigate further with a lil bit of light and an engine hoist!
