+1 if you MUST do a piston swap just do a LSX and get it over with. But why in the hell fuck up a rx7 with a piston?

yeah and at the end of the day your wasting alot of fucking money putting the shitty sr20 motor in it. The N/A RX7 is faster then the sr20det's. ive raced enough of them and beat them all. There shitty motors. If your going to do something stupid like swaping out the rotary engine atleast upgrade the power not downgrade it.

the n/a rx7 is shit. the entire drivetrain is WEAK... even if u keep the n/a and upgrade to the T2 drivetrain. You would have to have some serious porting done to keep up with the modded sr20det's.
T2 stock whp is 185-210 to the wheels
sr20det stock whp is 200-220 to the wheels
N/A stock whp is 143-165 to the wheels
all based on stock everything
now if you wouldnt jump the gun and just ask what i've decided on, you would know what the fuck imma do with it. since no one has asked, i spose i'll tell now.
It'll be rebuilt with some heavy porting done. true dual exhaust, air pump and emissions removed, a/c removed and a haltech e6k or an rtek. ignition will be upgraded accordingly and a nice shot of nitrous will be added and tuned for it. I am upgrading to the T2 drivetrain while i'm at it.
