ls1 rx7
i just put a SBF/tremec set up in my 1991 rx-7. It fits decently, but kinda sticks out of the hood. The car runs very strong, and I have already broke the factory rear. But not to fear, I got a turbo II LSD today, so hopefully it will hold that 400hp, 450ftlbs+ beast!! and yes stangerang, that's what the rx-7 is made for. The rotary engine was a great idea on paper. stock engine perf. #'s 160hp, 140ftlbs WTF, those are great #'s for a 400lb bike.

I must admit that is a great idea combining one of the most sexiest cars ever made with one of the most best engines out there to build....all you need on an ls1 is exhaust and the bottle with some tires your in the 11's......

yeah a turbo engine stock is only 185-200 depending on what series you have, but people don't understand that If you get a hybrid BNR turbo (small one/stage 1), fmic, injectors, safc, FD pump, rtek 1.7, and exhaust, you will have 300rwhp at 15psi and full spool by 3800rpms. You don't need to get an aftermarket exhaust manifold or an aftermarket wastegate which would run up another $600. Its definitly more expensive than an ls1 or 302 swap but it's way cooler IMO to stomp a C5 with a 1.3L than a 5.7 or 5.0L
I Bet You Put More Money Into It Than Any Rx7 Running 9 Secs Out There. I Put 3500 And I Will Eat And Spit You Out Before You Can Say Boost. There Is Nothing Like A 3rd Gen With A Monster Port And A T78. With 100hp Shot Of Nos.

^lol, yeah my thoughts exactly. A monster port, thats hilarious, I can't believe he tried using that, a BP might have been believeable, but not a MP. God I hate people who try and look "cool" on forums by lying..... it's kinda sad if you ask me. I'll only buy rotaries but I will admit that a v8 swap is the best bang for your buck.
