ls1 rx7
Just stop while you are ahead. We [meaning us rx7 ls1 guys] will always have this arqument about the ricans loving there broke down, primered ass, clear tail lights rx7's doing amazing things with a ported motor. You had a fd ported with a single that to me was EXTREMEly impressive especially when we ran that 350 modena from a 70 roll to 120 out a courtney campbell. However when I got into dewains ls1 I was hooked. It felt that it made the same performance if not more than the single with just a cam and headers. Than you have the arqument on cost. Everybody thinks that this swap is so god damn expensive, Well my motor and trans actually the complete pull out only ran me 3,000. Thats everyting folks. yes I will probablly dump another 35-4000 into making EVERYTHING work. OK now lets call a 'local' mazda performance shop and ask how much cash it will take to make a reliable guaranteed to start everyday 400-450 hp single fd ported. Probably pretty damn expensive. On to the next subject weight and cornering, Again it only adds I believe I have heard from people 41lbs difference. Again riding in Dewains car in his neighborhood at high speeds the car didnt break traction or body roll at all. So we will never win this stupid argument, untill the day that almost all running rx7's that are left have a swap. And I hate to tell it to you floks if youm go onto v8rx7forum.com you will see the groing amount of swapped rx7's. So ask yourself before you comment why is that. Hmmm I think you deep down inside know the truth. It took me awhile to come around I always sais "stupid rednecks' when in all in all its most people that have more money than others

Leo, WTF is wrong with you ? Im Puerto Rican and my rx-7 is not primered with clear tail lights. Dont be so ignorant, if u do like rotaries than dont get one. Is that so hard to do. I now my car is not the fastest in the world, but i keep it clean.

actually amazed to see a clean first gen and not some junkyard crap. I believe between you and another guy in the tampa bay area named landon are the only ones in florida to have a nice looking first gens. Hehe. Yes most are primered crap, Sound like crap, and roll out like crap. I know. I was the one who had those and then woke up to a real car. AMERICAN MUSCLE! Peace

Given similar circumstances, I argue that triangles and pistons will last approximately the same amount of time. If you have a naturally aspirated engine, they will both go 100K+ miles easily. If you twin turbo both of them, their life will be shortened. If you toss a single turbo and run a huge amount of boost, life is shortened as well.
