Yep, that corvette was also mid engine. It seems that GM never went through with production becuase they couldn't get it to the emission standards of that day.
what's the story behind the burnt FC? Who's was it? I know a guy with a 10AE with an LT1. Not my cup of tea but I wonder if it was him?

I love these swaps. It combines the excellent LS1 V8 with a lightweight chassis that can handle beautifully. My next project car will probably be an FC V8 swap.

Ive seen pics of a twin turbo'd ls1 3rd gen on the net...i think it ran in the 8's..and was streetable...not bad in my book,at all
