get a bigger cam, some roller rockers, maybe a 2800 stall converter, and some gears? then spray when i have to?

sounds a little better, but what ya do is get those flowed and find out at what lift what efm they flow and then call com cams or something and give them the specs and they will build you a cam for your car, that is the best way to do that, then you will have a good setup,
but i still think you need some gears first

If you go to the right roads where there is rubber laid down then yeah they help. You should check out the grooves at carquest and maybe try and line up in them, but your a "Driver" you should know that.
