VSS question??
B series speed sensor will an automatic speed sensor work in a manual trans? I found two that look exactly the same the only differences are one says it fits auto and one says it fits manual and the price! Which one will work id rather not pay 200$ for a manual sensor when the auto one is 50$

As a start I would check the part numbers on the speedometer to see if
speedometers are the same for auto equipped cars as they are for manual.
If it were a gear-type sensor, I would check the number of gears and the
depth into the tranny.
Logically, different speedometers will require a different sending unit.-Bob
