Do a Full z6 on Boost or if you go the y8 Theres ppl who know how to modify the oil pump or something like that so they flow better.
Yoshi06 He has a Full z6 block w/ full arp hardware & vitara pistons with new rings on h beam magnitude rods part.

These guys are heading you on the right track. The y8 oil issue is spot on and you can get plenty of info on it. Just avoid stock d15 rods for the love of god..

Turbod16.com and onecamonly.com - Honda SOHC Forums will also be valuable resources.
I'm on turbod16.

Good info everyone, thanks. I checked out turbod16, porting/polishing the oil pump seems like a cheap route and since I already have a y8 longblock I think I'll go with that, assuming the motor turns out to be healthy, but I won't know until I break it down.

Great numbers Neke, considering you only threw more fuel and a tune at it. Does he have any plans for rods/pistons?

Where can I find an oem full replacement gasket/seal kit? I've found a bunch of sites selling everything separately but most of them aren't oem parts.

Not OEM, but FJ Distributors sells complete bottom end kits with everything in them including rods and pistons for $599. A bunch of people use these kits.

Yeah I was going to mention that. I bought a full rebuild kit from napa..but if I were throwing internals in FJ is the effing way to go! Those custom rods are the shit if your making big power on a budget with vitara pistons. I see he also now includes a honda oem timing belt after some complaints about the previous one were noted. Thats how you do business.

Hell yeah, the seals + gaskets alone are $79.00, along with the pistons and rods themselves in a package are $425.00, and you get the arp studs.. then basically everything else is free.. Hell of a deal. Definitely the best way to go..
