Motor SWAP /TRANS/QUESTION?? Please help.
In my opinion you should just get a b18c(gsr). B20 vtechs are sick and will make a little more horse power, but it's not as simple as putting the kit on a vtech head and using a b20 bottom end. To be reliable you need to rebuild the motor with the right parts, including pistons, rods, adjustable cam gears, and other things that aren't cheap or easy to do. Just get the gsr motor and be done with it, likely many less headaches and less money when all is said and done. But this is just my .02$ because I've been there and done that.

also, What about an H22a motor, can you have an a/c with that motor? Those websites say 200 hp. Kinda attractive and a bit cheaper than a GSR I think. Im just guessing. Let me know guys, thanks.
Dont listen to any of this crap.
Buy either a GSR or b16, spend $500 on a ebay turbo kit, get it tuned and make over 300whp spank S2k's and half the people posting in this thread.
I have seen stock GSR's make 360 pump gas

yada yada yada all that crap and still get spanked by this sohc all motor. YouTube - CRX SOHC ALL MOTOR 12.7 RUN watch and learn
Bro i hate to say theres is alot of false info on here. First of all who ever said the s2k is a heavy car is crazy. Second a 200whp all motor setup is a very serious setup something that you will never achieve with an oem setup no matter what engine you choose to buy. If you want a good advice and stay under a reasonable budget I agree with strictly business, I would choose any motor sohc or dohc and just put a mild turbo setup and you can reach 300whp with no problem and with a good driver. 300whp honda should break into the 12's no problem.
