K series motors?? The b20 is a K killer. Is a K motor powerful, and the B20 vtec smokes it? Cool.

oh ok, I see... Very great info on here guys. I'm like a sponge right now. Wow, you guys know your stuff. I have seen those K motors, and they look expensive and odd in the engine bay..

Should I purchase a B20 bottom end first? then.. the vtec head from another source, or can I buy complete.. ? Also Is this combo reliable for a Daily with no problems because its two different parts. Thanks..

The 98+ B18C-R is said to have 210HP but if anything thats at the crank. WHP is usually from 170-190. There are some freak stock R's or maybe its the dyno that put down numbrs like 190WHP. 180WHP seems to be around the average. Usually I/H/E, cams, and a compression increase will break the 200WHP mark. Its hit and miss, some spend thousands and thousands to break that number while others do the more basic parts change and get there. Its more of what you like when buliding your setup. I weighed all the factors before I made the move to swap. Research different setups and the numbers people are making, then look at your budget.
