Default clutch CHATTER

I'm just wondering if anyone else has a SUPER loud clutch.... At least I hope it's just a loud clutch... Anything else the noise could be other than it just being loud? Yes, i'm SURE its coming from the tranny. NO, its not getting progressively worse.

NO NOISE AT IDLE, or when i press clutch in or release it...When in first gear its a CHHHH CH CH CH CH when getting rolling, then goes away at higher RPM then second gear only does it a little. Also when down shifting and releasing the clutch pedal its a REALLY loud CHHHHHHH noise....

Any opinions?

EDIT< guess i should tell you all its a DC teg LS hydro tranny

Really? I thought that if it was a bad TB it would make noise and then when you press in the clutch it goes away....I'm almost certain..

No, quite the opposite. When the clutch is pushed in the bearing is pressed on the pressure plate and is spinning.

Either way, wouldn't a bad TB be noticeable when the pedal is pushed in and released?? This noise ONLY occurs when in gear and putting a load on the clutch

Not sure, i just traded for this DC about a month ago. I've had loud clutches but this one takes the cake..... If it's just the TB, it's no big deal, easy fix, but i just can't see that being the problem...
