Angry Really odd dyno numbers..Discussion...

So final results are listed and I am truly baffled as to how the car made almost "worse than stock" numbers on a brand new motor (1100 miles)
Specs:
01' GSR Head
-Buddy Club spec3+ cams
-Buddy Club intake valves
-Stock gsr exhaust valves
-Buddy Club dual valve springs
-AEM cam gears
-Crower retainers
-ARP head studs
JDM B16a block
-shot-peaned rods
-ACL race bearings
-micropolished and balanced crank
-stock P30 pistons
Bolt-ons
-Skunk2 intake manifold
-AEM Fuel Rail
-Password JDM intake
-JDM Type R 4-1 header
-US OEM Type R Exhaust
-NGK wires
-Iridium Plugs
On the bright side, the motor runs GREAT, but just no power or torque. All ailments have been cured, but the car just took a dump on the dyno. I'm bummed, but optimistic that we will get to the bottom of this. I'm going to take it to my buddy's shop this week to run a compression test.
Original motor thread is here:
fresh built swap b16a block/gsr head/tranny 0 miles lots a pics! new price $2,700!!!! - Honda-Tech

Any ideas guys?
THIS IS NOT MY CAR NEITHER DO I KNOW THE OWNER. JUST SAW IT ON ANOTHER FORUM AND THOUGHT I'D BE A GOOD DISCUSSION ON HERE SINCE THIS IS TAMPA AND WE ALL KNOW AND LOVE MR. VEGA'S TUNING SKILLS.

I said he needed a compression/leakdown test. As far as mods : 65mm throttle body, Apex'i N1 exhaust system or similar setup, RMF Replica header or similar setup, more compression, arp rod bolts, and a block with more displacement (most important of all). I still don't know why some people still use B16 blocks with stock crank and rods, i mean you are obviously going to be disappointed with the results, why not just save up a little more and get a gsr block if you are looking to stay all vtec and not frankenstein? i guess alot of people with stock Si's just want to do a build but are just too lazy to look for more displacement.

Well, assuming a stock b16 motor with I/H/E typically will yield 160+ hp and I have added cams, cam gears, intake valves, an intake manifold, 3 angle valve job, and springs/retainers/and head studs to be able to extend the power band, I would expect more than what i put down.
I think their is something seriously wrong with his bottom end.

Looks about right to me..Big cams with stock compression dont make good power..And thats about the only "power mod" he has.It makes power all the way to 9ish seems like a healthy motor to me.

As far as making power some compression and a better header would go along with the cams nicely.

Exactly what i said but he still shouldn't be making less power than stock, it just doesn't make any sense.

Where Should It Be???, i think alot of those mod's would make a big difference if it was boosted compared to a stock b16 boosted

But its not boosted.Allmotor is a different monster and the smallest thing can make a BIG difference.

I think it should make about 165ish.

I'm not sure on exactly where it should be but it shouldn't be less than stock for damn sure.
