Go to walmart and buy 16 gauge wire. They sell a spool of like 50ft of it for like 3 bucks. You can find it in the auto section by the headlights usually. You don't need anything thicker than 16 gauge (the smaller the number the bigger the wire so 14 gauge is bigger than 16 gauge in case you didn't know). Don't use the speaker wire it will look half assed. Solder ALL connections.
