Default problem with air fuel ratio gauge, gauge savvy people help!

hey, i have a 1994 civic ex and i was trying to install a a/f ratio gauge.

and have a question.........

for the a/f gauge there are 4 wires,

one for the

- battery
-one that taps into the headlight
-one for the fuse box
- and finally the ecu

i have 3/4 in working order/ hooked up, i know i have the three hooked up right because when i turn the car on, the gauge gets power, but the lights are staying on the "rich" side and not moving @ all, i know it is because of the one wire that i have not configured yet . it says in the instructions to tap the wire in to the ecu, where do i tap it in to on the ecu? do i splice a wire and tap it or are their ones i should avoid?

im sorry but this is hard to explain....

any help would be appreciated.

Is it a wideband or just a christmas light that bounces up and down for no reason?

wait, sorry to be confusing, i just asked my friend and told me he was pretty sure it was a wideband, i did some quick research and found out it is not.
well i don't think so,

i got it for free it is a sunpro style line ? something like that.

yeah narrowband A/F gauges are pretty much useless. Only purpose they serve is to let you know your O2 is working.

youre missing a ground. should be black?
the one that runs to the headlights only serves the purpose of dimming the gauge at night. if you dont want them to dim you can just ground that out too for maximum brightness.

the one that goes to the ecu taps into the 02 sensor line. i forget the color. phearable has a pinout i believe in their tech section on their site
