Unhappy please help!
So i put a new head on my z6 single cam and when i turned it on it did popin noises. Someone please help me. What do i do!!!

Bent valves possibly. What do u mean by popping noise?

could it be timing?
it sounds like a canon makin a popin noise

you sure you got your spark plug wire on right?is your distributor good?

"poppin" as in backfire? Where is the noise coming from. Please elaborate.

could it be too much oil?
its not backfiring.

HMmm pinpoint where the sound is coming from and you will find your issue. I cant hear your "poppin" over the internet. Is it a click? or a knock? let us know which part of the head its coming from. Just saying the head is "poppin" doesnt sound right.
Like "my vtechh is poppin!!!"
