is my Distributor bad ?

Default is my Distributor bad or my Igniter ?

Hey TR yesterday i pulled into a gas station i went in the store and then came out and went to turn on my car and it wouldnt start, it tries to turnover but it just doesnt start i checked my fuses i put a diff batery and also checked the spark plug wires and did a test to see if there is a spark going thru and there wasnt so i thought maybe my ignition coil is bad so i got one and installed it and still nothing it didnt start, i have no clue what it is could it be my distributor is bad or maybe my igniter? if anyone can please help me or refer me to some honda guru mechanic !

Sounds weird, but take off the cap and check the rotor. See if the terminals are corroded or something. You can use a nail file to clean them off a bit. See if you get spark. If that doesn't work, then you will need to troubleshoot further but I'd say your problem is somewhere in the distributor, be it coil or whatnot.

i would say you have a dizzy problem of some sort. what kind of car is it? what year is the car?

i cant remember if the main relay has to do with spark or not, i know it controls fuel. but if its bad that could also be a problem to check into.

Does the distributor still spin freely? If so, it's still good, meaning you have a bad coil or something else within the distributor.

It does spin freely, we changed the igniter 3 times same thing with the ignition coil we put 3 diff ones. Still no start no spark ! We then decided to get the CEL codes and nothing flashed meaning no codes being thrown up so no prob ?! Right ! But yet still no spark ! WTF could it be lol could it be electrical ?
