compression in an r motor is high
your better off geting a k20a2 and do some internal work to it imo

 

i talked over everthing with my father and he agrees to just get the k20a2 instead of the R. and i wrote earlier in the thread what kind of suspension work i should do. You guys have helped out quiet a bit and i am highly appreciative TR=the shiz. ill post updates on this thread when everything comes in thank yall.

 

What are you looking to get out of it? Are you going to just be draggin this car or do you want it set up to handle? Personally I set mine up for handling. To do this properly on the RSX there are a lot of little things that people don't think about doing.

 

dont buy the k20a2 find a k24 bottom then a type-s head u can build a k24 turbo for about half the price of a type-s swap i found my k24 for 300 had 3 bent valve i put 09 tsx pistons in it and a type s head thats 1100 for a motor that would out run a stock type-s motor and its still all oem parts check out k20a.org very usefull info there
