Default RSX k20-r conversion

Hello everyone it has been awhile since i have been on here but alot has happend. I have an 03 rsx base model and am currently awaiting a full k20-r swap along with full engine upgrade and full turbo kit. I was hoping to get some insight on what some people think. I have looked all over for a k20-r converted rsx but have not seen one. Im wondering what kind of problems im going to come across with the swap and any helpful insight is highly appreciated. For those who wonder the cost it came out to roughly 8500 with both full swap with the engine upgrades and turbo. Me and my father will be putting this beast together and am hoping for this car to be what i have always wanted fast and flashy. Please no discouraging or negative post, just another tuner trying to get insight.

Most people just buy the type s rather than doing all the work as far as the swap goes, but good luck

Using vague terms such as "full engine upgrade" and "full turbo kit", it's going to be hard for anyone to give you any opinion/advice as to what is good and bad about the setup you are wanting to accomplish here. But, either way g/l with the swap.

K20r is a waste, especially if your going to be doing internal/head work.

On H-Motors,the k20r is 5499,while the type s is 3899.

Is 15-20hp really worth $1600?

I'd rather buy a type-S,use that 1600 for pistons/rods/ips cams and such.

Just my .02

Get the Type-S. Dont waste your money getting the K20-R.. You can spend your money more wisely, like Matt M. said..

the only thing with the +25 over the s is that the 1600 ill have left over if i decide on the s would just go into that motor and i might get 30+ hp. But keep em coming my friends anything you have to say helps out. And i was gonna go with the t34 turbo but im still not sure. and engine upgrades would be rods forged pistons bored and shaved heads so on.... But as i said all the help is appreciated my friends. I may just go with the S motor. As for tranny what do you think i should do going that rout. The swaps come with everything from the block to the clutch, flywheel etc. And what about exhaust? And should i do a complete suspension swap as well?
