1. not all hondas have the same valve lash settings.

2. if timing is off he will have more problems than just running rich.

3. a compression test is not going to point him in the direction of where the extra fuel is coming from. he said ALL of the plugs were black. if he were down on compression (most likely in 1 cylinder if any) then there would be an oddball looking plug out of the 4.

58 psi at idle WILL make a motor run rich, regardless of the setup. thats just too much pressure at idle. too tight of valves may also make you be down on compression in whatever cylinder the lash has tightened up, but a compression test will not reveal this. to find that out you have to do a leak down.

keep on track with the fuel system. it sounds like theres a bug in there somewhere. o btw. im running 3 fuel pumps cuz im uber jdm tyte yo!

Holy shit sleepinsol...that must be why you almost threw down 180whp...I knew I should have dished out the extra for a second walbro 255...just having one isn't going to cut it in the honda game anymore lol...but seriously back on topic...check all the fuel line stuff and I bet it IS back by the tank where your issue is. You may as well just drop the tank and check that stuff.
