i thought your regulator was adjustable sorry i misread. if his plugs are black its not lean. do you blow smoke at WOT? i would look into a blockage in the fuel system. somethin is making it spike at idle. based on the crome program it looks like manifold pressure at idle is around 21" of vaccum. it could be different tho. thats the cell i usually adjust when tuning. good luck let us know if any updates happen.

thanks for all of the suggestions .i was wondering about the pump but thats going to be the last resort.im probably going with the block in the fuel line.i replaced the fuel line going to the rail.i also thought about the gauge you can get a bad one but im not sure it would make the motor backfire on decell, and run so rich but i have seen weirder things tho.going with sleepinsol i do have an adjustable regulator but it craped out on me and its weird but i dont blow out black smoke at wot.but thanks everyone

backfires on decel? that could be lean too. do a 3rd gear pull form 3k to redline and then pull over and immediately pull the plug n see what color it is. if your not blowing smoke and you backfire thats not good. are you running a cat?

^isnt it a pull at wide open throttle then immediately shut the car off and pull the plugs. best to be done on a dyno. controlled enviroment. plus if you do be careful when putting the plug back in, motor will be hot and can run a chance of cross threading the threads.

yes but dyno time is expensive, and if he were to use the dyno to do it y would he waste time pulling the plug when hes got the sniffer on the dyno to read?

58 psi is not going to make run rich! have you checked VALVE LASH? 1. if your valves are not to tight .006 intake .008 exaust with the engine cold.2.check your timing3. do a compression test.........

your prolly gonna find somthing REALLY dumb like 2 fuel pumps on a stock setup, or a bent return line going into the tank. cuz 2 fuel pumps makes you faster.
