I seriously thought about it, but I don't sleep on a matress full of money
But I figure that K has the most potential at this point. Problem is, you can't go with power steering and g/l with ac, again without spending the national budget of a small South American country.

gsr and build it up it will last longer and you will have a freash new motor with more power

I read this Sport Compact Car article that (may be old and) K-Series Engines into the EK (1996-2000) Civic's Chassis - Tech - Sport Compact Car Magazine said that at this point, to put a K-Series into an EK, you had to eliminate the ps. I like ps, and ac is a must!
But, for 5k, maybe I'll look closer at K. I just dont want my car to be down for weeks with custom fab, etc.

I wouldn't go with HMO personally. I got my ITR 98+ spec swap from PWJDM cheaper, and with more/better parts. You could get a GSR, but then you'd just have another GSR, and the same work into a B18C R will yield greater results, as long as you're willing to deal with the base price difference.
You could also buy my ITR EK so I can go get a loan and buy my dream car

type r is a great motor, but k series is everything b series isnt. u try and squeeze 220ish hp and 160ish tq from a b series with bolt ons. it will NEVER happen. the potential of the k has yet to be reached. i think it would b a good investment. i kno there is an ac kit but ps im not sure of. check out Hybrid Racing if you like.

typeR motors are over priced and garbage unless your have it with your integra stock,but to buy one is no point.it is cheaper and better to build up a Ls/vtec motor or gsr and still have money left over to spend,and your motor wil last longer and beat the tyepR easy...save your money
