Overheating problem...advice?

I got a block test done (Is that the same) where they put that thing to your rad and test it from there. It turned color so it's deff the headgasket, I'm in the middle of taking it off now and I noticed when I took the spark plugs out in the 1st cylinder when I looked in it there was acutually a pool of water....so things aren't looking so good.

I'm having a lot of trouble here, is there a way to get the crankshaft pully off without turning it besides using a chain wrench like it says in the manual? The discount auto around here doesn't have one in and I can't get the damn thing off without it turning.
